The site was part of a small community mosque in a good class area near Holland Road and Sixth Avenue. As part of the mosque development programme, the site was cordoned off and redeveloped into a private cluster housing. In keeping with the nostalgic charme of the area and the past historical Malay Village, called Kampung Tempeh, the architectural style was inspired by the traditional Malay houses and updated for today’s contemporary lifestyle.
